Rival Crock Pot with Corning Ware Booklet - Scanned

So, I have had this as a gigantic 89 MB .tiff file for about a year.  WAY to large to do much of anything with.  But I finally found a converter that I could live with (meaning it was free)..... So now it is a mere 3.8 MB .pdf file.

Apparently, these Rival Crock Pots (with Corning Ware A-3 insert) were only made in 3 patterns.  Forever Yours (above), Shadow Iris (below)

and Country Cornflower.

Since Forever Yours was available from 1990-1993 and Shadow Iris was in production from 1985-1995 and Country Cornflower was produced from 1988 to 1993, the pattern overlap occurs between 1990-1993.. Thus I am assuming, since no other patterns seem to exist, that this is the time frame of the Crock Pot's production.

I continue to hope that I will run across a White or Beige one, but to date, I still haven't.

Happy Crock Pot Cookery!

Where is your Corning Ware (Crock Pot)??

About Town With Corningware - This is Corningware Country

There are actually 3 patterns with "Country" in the name so I decided on doing another multi-pattern post.

I already posted Country Cornflower a while back.....  But I'll include it here too just for continuity.

Country Cornflower
(1988-1993)

Country Cottage
(1997-1998)

This was made to coordinate with the Corelle pattern and even though the original pyroceramic Corningware was discontinued, the pattern is still available on World Kitchen's new "Simply Lite" Vitrelle bakeware line.

Country Festival
(1975-1977)

I always found this pattern interesting.... Recently, I noticed that it has a copyright date in the lower right hand corner of 1975.  As far as I know, this is the only pattern with an actual date printed on it.  Ya just gotta love Pennsylvania Dutch tole painting.

About Town With Corningware - Basket of Flowers For Mother Day?

Found at an antique store.  Which is funny to me, cause though Corningware is over 60 years old, this pattern is not.  It's the "Country Cornflower" pattern that was released in 1988.  Possibly retro, but not an antique, yet.

This was suppose to be the "new" face of the original Blue Cornflower design, which was retired the same year Country Cornflower was released.  Sadly, though the original Blue Cornflower was produced for over 30 years (1957 - 1988), Country Cornflower just didn't have the same appeal and was retired in 1993 after only 5 years.
