Coincidental Cornflower Collection - My Unintentional A-series Cornflower

I have said many times that I was never interested in collecting the A-Series Cornflower, at least not past the roasters...  Cause you can never have too many roasting pans.    There were more pieces made in the P-Series, and the P-series is the older of the two (being pre-1972) so I was all good with just concentrating on the original model series.

Be that as it may, I sort of "fell" into a slew of A-series over the space of a couple days and it was all REALLY inexpensive.  My resolve completely crumbled.... SO, this is my completely unplanned collection of A-series Cornflower.

Top Shelf: A-18-B on A-21-B on A-76-B sitting on an 11x15 White Counter Saver that I stretched across the top, so I could add the roasters to the photo.
Second Shelf:  A-8-B in A-10-B
Third Shelf:  A-1-B on A-3-B on A-84-B
Bottom Shelf:  A-1 1/2-B on A-2-B, on A-5-B
Not shown...   A-22 Electromatic Table Range.  (I can only balance so much on my shelf)

Granted, I am still missing the infamous A-21-B-N (late model A-21 Roaster with handles on each end), but it will happen...  :)

Oh, that little blue box on the top, is the metal rack (A-21-R) that Corning made to fit all 3 of the A-series Roasting Pans.

Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty! - My Unintentional Garden Cat Collection

I Rescued these from an antique store, simply because they were filthy dirty and in need of some love and attention.  Sort of like pet rescue on a different level.

Unbeknownst to me, at the time of purchase, this appears to be the entire set of "Garden Cat".

It was only produced from the fall of 1996 to 1997 and, as far as I have been able to ascertain, the only sizes produced were the  1 quart (A-1-B), 2 quart (A-2-B) and 3 quart (A-3-B).

As interesting as they are, the jury is still out as to whether they are staying in my collection or not.

UPDATE: 7-12-2014   Well, they didn't stay in my collection.  My mother saw this blog post and fell in love with them, so they are gracing her kitchen now, along with her Shadow Iris.

Pretty Pansies for Auntie Patsy - Secret Summer Blush Collection (with extras)

I don't really know if this counts as a "My Collection" post or "My Collection Monday" post.  Technically it is still in my possession, so I guess for all intensive purposes, it is my collection at this point.

You see, I have been secretly amassing a collection of Summer Blush, to give to my Aunt Patsy, cause she loves pansies.  (Though after she sees this post, it won't be much of a secret anymore)  LOL

I will admit I have had to throw in a couple of "Just White" pieces in to round out the set.  Electromatic Skillets were discontinued in 1976, so they are not available with a Summer Blush Skillet since the pattern wasn't released until 20 years later in 1996.

A-1.5-B with A-7-C lid sitting in an A-2-B with A-9-C lid.

A-1-B with A-7-C lid sitting on a second A-2-B with A-9-C lid sitting on an A-5-B with A-5-C lid.

M-10-GR Grill Pan (I need to find her an A-10-HG handle for this one)

This is actually a Cookmates Skillet (10 inch) with a P-12-C lid on the original P-12-ES Electromatic Hot Plate.

It's almost a complete set of Summer Blush, though I am still watching for an A-3-B and an A-21-B-N Roaster... I am also thinking that I should probably find her another A-1-B (you can never have too many 1 quart saucepans).
