I have over 30 plates, cups and saucers and salad plates. I have berry bowls and regular bowls. I've been collecting them from thrift stores for over 20 years. Funny about the microwave, my mom told me she doesn't put them in the microwave anymore because she had one shatter. I have always used them in the microwave, I just know to let them cool a bit before taking them out. <br /><br />Thank you for the information. I am in search of the materials used in this line - and perhaps if there are other reasons not to microwave with them.
