I'm guessing based on my numerous searches that not many other kitchens out there still have this stovetop? Also, my starbursts no longer turn yellow to indicate they are on, but the cooktop still cooks. We have had to purchase CW to be able to cook with it bc it wouldn't even boil water on our non-CW pots and pans.Monicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13528792345251802763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2276608745809098353.post-26512662936094026782014-06-23T22:09:05.719-07:002014-06-23T22:09:05.719-07:00Thank You for your help.

My husband is a great long time lover of food.
He is an amazing baker at a well known restaurant in our town. Our favorite restaurant is a 2 time award winning James Beard restaurant. We are Very rarely able to afford it but Fore St in Portland Maine is great when we can. The Percolators usually have Black Plastic lids with a glass or plastic knob to allow for watching the percolation. There is one exception that I am aware of, and that is the Centura Percolator which has a metal top with a glass insert (for watching the perking) that then has a metal knob screwed to said glass insert. I ...Thank God a place to finally ask this question,
I picked up a cornflower 6 or 9 cup perculator from Goodwill. It has all the parts and works but I noitced the cover is made of wood. It fits but I do not see one made of wood anywhere in pictures.
Do you know if they made one with a wooden cover.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01178006823577838956noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2276608745809098353.post-71076622188115284012014-05-06T03:52:43.566-07:002014-05-06T03:52:43.566-07:00Thanks very much for adding those dates.
